Manhole Cable Roller for Underground Cable Laying (Vertical Type)

The Manhole Cable Roller is a specially designed guiding device used in underground cable-laying operations for vertical cable installation through manholes, ducts, and shafts. It is installed at the manhole entry or exit point to safely guide the cable from ground level into the underground duct or vice versa.

Functionally similar to a triple corner roller, this roller assembly is specifically engineered for vertical cable laying, whereas the triple corner roller is used for horizontal cable laying around trench corners and bends.

The manhole cable roller consists of three precision-mounted rollers arranged to support and guide the cable smoothly over the vertical edge. This configuration ensures controlled cable movement, maintains proper bending radius, and significantly reduces friction and edge abrasion during pulling operations.

To enhance strength and durability, the rollers are mounted on a heavy-duty 16 mm diameter center shaft, providing superior load-bearing capacity, rigidity, and long service life. This is a key advantage over conventional designs that use only 12 mm diameter shafts, which are more prone to bending and wear under high pulling tensions.

Manufactured from a robust steel frame and fitted with high-quality rollers (nylon / PU / steel as per requirement), the manhole cable roller is built to withstand harsh site conditions and high pulling forces encountered during underground cable installation.
